Guess what? Cruise Trip!

I WON A CRUISE!

Yes, that’s right. I won a cruise for two to the Carribean! It is an all inclusive cruise for 5 days and 4 nights! Yepyep! The cruise is from Royal Caribbean, oh god, I’m so pumped.

It’s not often you win something like this, and since it’s a cruise for two, I’m taking my friend, Olivia. However there IS ONE tiny catch.
We have to create a sort of “scrapbook” for the cruise company, and we figured, why not do it as a blog? So, starting from tomorrow, we’ll be updating regularly to inform all you nice people about our amazing experiences. : D
For our cruise, we’ll be starting from San Juan, Puerto Rico; then depart to Santiago de Cuba, Cuba ; to Monetgo Bay, Jamaica ; and lastly Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, before heading back to San Juan.

Gotta go pack!

Day 1: It all begins!

*yawn*

We woke up at around 2:00 AM in order to go to Pearson International Airport and fly from Toronto to San Juan, Puerto Rico. We boarded the US Airway and the whole plane trip was about 7 hours! Since we needed to make a stop at Philadelphia before going to Puerto Rico. Anyways, after those 7 LONG hours, we rode on a taxi to the port of embarkation and we made it just in time.

It was 9:30 AM and we boarded the ship. First we went to check out our ocean view room. It was absolutely AMAZING, we each had a perfect view of the ocean. When we unpacked our belongings and got comfortable in our rooms, we began exploring the cruise ship, while it began departing from Puerto Rico at 12:00 PM. We were extremely hungry from the plane ride, so we went to a nice island grill dining restaurant and the food was so good! After eating that delicious meal, we went on the top deck to go mini-golfing, it was really fun, since we never played golf on a cruise ship! After that, we went decided to take a break and went to a bunch of boutique shops to shop for souvenirs. Then, we went to the La Scala Theatre to watch a performance! The theatre was huge! And there was so many people in the theatre!

After that wonderful performance, we went we eat at the main dining room. We each order different dishes of gourmet food, but what I remembered most was dessert! We both ordered a chocolate molten lava cake, it was so chocolaty and very delicious! Later that night, we both went out to the observation point to view the stars in the night sky and we both called it a night.
